Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 3D Fanart screen

Hi friends !

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 3D Fanart progressing well. In this update, we begin to make small interior objects such as barrels, crates and plants!

Before to go further, some words about my feelings around this project.

This small project is giving me the occasion to think a lot about my passion, to reaffirm my purpose. I started in the video game industry 6 years ago… And it was even later that I got the idea, the desire and the need to work on personal projects (Even game concepts… who knows?).

It’s important for me because I take the time to do my best on each element, even if I have to slow down sometimes. But also to makes me progress in a lot of domains that I don’t have the opportunity to deepen in the video game production.

These last two weeks, I really enjoyed doing these simple elements, staples found in almost all video games! ^^

I’m happy with the rendering, but I let you be the judge of that = )

Besides, I took some liberties of not quite following the templates concerning the barrels. On the original picture, there is only one strapping: I preferred to put two for aesthetic and practical reasons.

I also realized that there are differences of scale between elements in the corner of the bar…. It’s not very important in my opinion, it doesn’t change the mood of the scene!

I really loved doing the big plant: It looks just like a flowering palm-tree! To create it, I sculpted it from pot to trunk, then I used Substance Designer to make different leaves.

This element gives others colors in the scene that was quite monotonous. Later, red carpets will also play this role, as well as various multicolored beverages. = )

That’s all for this week! ^_^ I really hope that this content enjoyed you!

In the week, I’ll update a new video to present this new content in the real time engine Unity!

Thanks a lot for kindly messages, it help me a lot for the project.
